Manish is an expert in process development with more than 19 years’ experience in Biopharmaceutical Industry. By education he is M. Sc in Biotechnology from NMU, and MBA from Symbiosis, India. He started his career as a Process Development Scientist in Wockhardt research Centre at Aurangabad in 2004. His journey continued and he worked with other reputed Indian biopharma companies like INTAS Biotherapeutics, Hospira Biologics, IPCA laboratories in Mumbai and since last 5 years working with OneSource. In the current role, as Director process development, Manish is responsible for developing both early stage and late stage process DS and DP processes for different modalities. During his tenure, he has contributed in development of multiple biosimilar and Adeno viral vector production processes and has scaled it to commercial manufacturing.

He is leading a team of 25 enthusiastic scientist and playing an important role is CDMO journey of OneSource. His leadership qualities along with knowledge in understanding the pain and challenges of Biopharmaceutical industry helps to recommend right solutions to the client’s at various stages of the development.

Dr. Nandakumar Sundaramoorthy is a seasoned leader in the field of Biologics research and development with over 20 years of experience. His expertise lies in Protein sciences, protein characterization, Analytical Sciences, Formulation screening where he has demonstrated a remarkable track record. Embarking on his professional journey, Nanda initiated his career at Orchid (currently Pfizer), and later associations with Biocon, Dr Reddys biologics, Stelis Biopharma, Kemwell Biopharma. He received a doctoral degree in Immunology (Vaccine development, Prognostic and Diagnostic Biomarker discovery, development) from University of Medicine, Greifswald, Germany.

Currently serving as the Director and Head of Analytical & Bioanalytical Departments at Onesource Specialty Pharma Ltd. In his current role as the Director, he leads diverse team of 25 energetic scientists, he develops analytical strategies across analytical life cycle management, and ensures successful technology transfers for manufacturing. His responsibilities span development, technology transfer, analytical services project planning, inter-departmental collaboration, and overall resource planning. Nanda has played a pivotal role in analytical development laboratory design, setting up, for biotechnology-derived advanced biosimilars, peptides, and antibodies. As a leader, Nanda embodies a collaborative and visionary style. He sets high expectations, drives results, and fosters teamwork, all while nurturing talent and expanding the reach of his influence.

Prateek Gupta, PhD Senior Vice President, Process Development & MSAT at Stelis Biopharma presents a webinar on the De-bottlenecking Challenges in Large Scale Viral Vector Manufacturing for Gene Therapy Applications

Prateek is currently serving as Senior Vice President of Technical Development & MSAT at Stelis Biopharma, an integrated biopharmaceutical CDMO based out of India. In this role, he provides overall leadership for delivering high-value biopharmaceutical technical development services for global customers and is responsible for building strategic growth plans and capabilities to maintain a robust project pipeline. Prateek is passionate about developing and manufacturing high quality affordable biologics and vaccines and contributing to improved access to patients worldwide. Prateek has over 15 years of experience, including international leadership roles in global biopharmaceutical companies and academic institutions, in product development and manufacturing of novel biologics and biosimilars. Prior to Stelis, Prateek was Senior General Manager and Head of Process Science, R&D at Intas Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for technical and operational strategy for the development of cell lines and cGMP-ready processes for company’s biosimilar portfolio. Prateek previously served in increasingly responsible roles in Pfizer, Total Energies and started his career at Genentech-Roche. Prateek has exceptional academic pedigree with a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University (USA) and Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. He has authored numerous publications and has been the recipient of prestigious W.H. Peterson award for best research presentation at the American Chemical Society.
