Francis Verhoeye serves as Global Pilot Operations Lead at Zoetis and is managing at the international level the Pilot Network specialized in the development, scale-up and transfer of vaccines and biological products using disposable technologies. Francis started his professional career in the field of pharmacology and bioengineering at the University of Louvain in Belgium. He benefits from more than 17 years operational experience in the field of animal and human cell culture techniques, upstream development and scale up as well as technology transfer management and disposable solutions implementation (through management positions held at Novasep, LFB Biotechnologies, Cardio3 Biosciences and GSK). Francis holds a PhD in Biology and a complementary degree in Management from the University of Louvain, Belgium.

Benjamin Asher is the Product Manager for bench scale bioprocess, sensor technologies, and automated downstream purification in Thermo Fisher Scientific’s BioProcess Division.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemisrty from Case Western Reserve University and is a member of the American Chemical Society, Society of Industrial Microbiology, and Alpha Chi Sigma Professional Chemistry Fraternity.  Ben has over 25 yeas of experience in bioprocessing and started his career at Amersham Life Science as a Fermentation Scientist.  Ben recently joined Thermo Fisher Scientific after a 15-year career at Eppendorf where he was most recently the Director of North American Bioprocess Sales.
