Dr. Jikang Wu is a Senior Principal Scientist in Analytical and Biological Mass Spectrometry at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where he leads the development and application of advanced analytical technologies to accelerate drug research and development. He earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Biology from Wuhan University. Dr. Wu directs a multidisciplinary team that leverages LC–MS, CE–MS, icIEF–UV–MS, mass photometry, and ICP–MS to support discovery, comprehensive biotherapeutic characterization, and regulatory submissions. Dr. Wu has advanced analytical innovation, particularly in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) characterization for mRNA medicines. He pioneered the use of macro mass photometry to deepen understanding of LNP structure and function, expanding capabilities in this rapidly evolving field. His work bridges fundamental research and practical application, directly impacting the development of next‑generation therapeutics. Dr. Wu has authored numerous peer‑reviewed publications and holds multiple patents, including advances in LNP analytical methodologies. He continues to drive innovation at the intersection of analytical chemistry and emerging therapeutic modalities.
