Scott joined Cytiva in 2009, and has since played a large role in designing the automation behind the Cytiva™Xcellerex™ single-use bioreactor platform and the Cytiva FlexFactory™ platform installation.

His professional career has spanned overlapping industries and multiple countries, including Germany, where lessons learned shaped his perspective on technology.

Scott holds multiple patents including one for the methods and apparatus to implement a flexible bioreactor control system. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in information systems from Northeastern University in Boston.
